Investigative Clinical Research is a clinical research facility located in Annapolis, Maryland. Our physicians and staff work to provide the Annapolis area and our surrounding communities with pioneering medical treatment options through ongoing clinical research trials.

We invite interested sponsors to review the information provided and contact our director to discuss your upcoming trials. Investigative Clinical Research has performed Phase II-IV trials within board therapeutic areas of medicine. Through our affiliations, we have physicians available within the following treatment areas: Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, E.N.T., General Surgery, Facial Plastics, Aviation Medicine, Anesthesiology, smoking cessation, and many more. We have access to more than 130,000 patients in the Maryland area. We have a streamlined protocol activation process and use Central IRBs which allow us to typically enroll the first patient in a study within one month of receiving a final protocol.

Completing over 150 studies as a Principal Investigator, Dr. Epstein has been committed to excellence in pharmaceutical and device research and certification. Since beginning his clinical investigations journey shortly after leaving the Air force in 1990, he has developed medical devices, and holds several patents that have been commercialized. His “intense curiosity to learn about new pharmaceuticals and therapies for patients” has paved the way for his successes in the years that followed.
Dr. Epstein’s long history with the FDA, married with his many experiences serving on several advisory boards over a 12 year span are only few of the many attributes that make him an excellent resource to lead Investigative Clinical Research.
