Colon Rectal Cancer- Exact Sciences Cologuard Study

Cologuard is a non-invasive stool-based test that detects stool DNA (sDNA) markers that are associated with malignant (CRC) and pre-malignant colorectal neoplasia (advanced precancerous lesions (APL) and fecal hemoglobin.

What we need:
  • Subjects preferably 60 years or older
  • Subject presents for a screening colonoscopy per standard of care
  • No symptoms or signs that require immediate or near term referral for diagnostic or therapeutic colonoscopy
  • What we cannot have:
  • Subject with a personal history of Colorectal cancer or advanced precancerous lesions
  • Subject with a diagnosis or medical family history of:
    Familial adenomatous polyposis
    Hereditary non-polyposis CRC syndrome

  • Diagnosis or personal history of IBD, Chronic ulcerative colitis, Crohns disease
  • Should not have had a colonoscopy in 9 years
